High liquidity is the bread and butter of any successful DeFi token. Because the KURO contract doesn’t include automatic LP acquisition, we rely on the community (you!) to provide liquidity to ViperSwap. 🐍
LP Contest + NFT Airdrops:
To incentivize providing liquidity, Kuro Shiba be holding a week-long Liquidity Provider Contest from July 1st to July 7th, and airdropping exclusive KURO NFTs to six lucky winners.
The top liquidity provider will receive Lucky KURO, a one-of-a-kind KURO NFT; and five random liquidity providers will each receive a unique version of Lazy KURO, a limited edition KURO NFT that comes in five flavors— grape, blueberry, strawberry, peach, and lime.
- 1st Prize: Lucky KURO!
- 2nd Prize: Lazy KURO — Grape!
- 3rd Prize: Lazy KURO — Blueberry!
- 4th Prize: Lazy KURO — Strawberry!
- 5th Prize: Lazy KURO — Peach!
- 6th Prize: Lazy KURO — Lime!
Ultra high-res and non-watermarked versions will be minted via DaVinci Gallery and airdropped to the winners.
Note that first prize goes to the top liquidity provider, but prizes 2–6 will go to 5 random liquidity providers, so there is NO minimum amount of liquidity you need to provide in order to have a chance to win.
To Qualify for the Kuro Shiba LP Contest, You Must:
- Add KURO-ONE liquidity to ViperSwap no later than July 1, 2021.
- Keep your liquidity in the pool until at least July 7, 2021.
- Tweet a shoutout to KURO, containing the following:

To further incentivize providing liquidity, KURO is participating in the TokenJenny.ONE Tournament held in partnership with VenomDAO! You can learn more about the Tournament here.

As some of you already know, TokenJenny is the main token generator and ViperSwap is the premier/leading DEX on Harmony. Simply competing in the Tournament is great for KURO because it’s a chance to rub elbows with these two community-led powerhouses of the Harmony network. But winning?! Let’s talk about a Tournament win would mean for KURO…
Incentivized KURO Pool on ViperSwap!
The grand prize for the TokenJenny Tournament is an incentivized pool on ViperSwap, which would be an incredible opportunity for KURO. Right now, KURO only has a non-incentivized pool on ViperSwap, which means that you can add KURO-ONE liquidity and earn a pro rata share of the 0.2% liquidity provider fee that ViperSwap charges per swap, but that’s about it.
An incentivized pool, on the other hand, would mean that you can add KURO to the liquidity pool and farm $VIPER! VIPER is the governance token for ViperSwap, and right now that can be used for swapping, farming, and voting. However, the KURO team is super bullish on VenomDAO, which is not just a DEX — it will be a cross-chain, multi-product DeFi DAO! Check out their “white paper” and roadmap here.
Additionally, our fingers are double crossed that the rewarding of the grand prize will favorably coincide with Snake Month on ViperSwap, during which rewards have been doubling every week since last Monday:
- Week 1 (June 21 — June 27): 16x multiplier
- Week 2 (June 28 — July 4): 32x multiplier
- Week 3 (July 5 — July 11): 64x multiplier
- Week 4 (July 12 — July 18): 128x multiplier
